En ocasiones hay que eliminar servers de ADAM que se han desconectado. Para ello conviene primero ver donde están los roles maestros de ADAM (Schema Master y Naming Master):
c:\>dsmgmt
roles
connections
connect to server ServerName:PortNumber
quit
select operation target
list roles for connected server
Esto nos sacará quienes son los maestros. Si alguno de los servers que queremos eliminar fuera maestro convendría primero asignar el rol maestro a otro server (seize o transfer), y luego para eliminar el server:
c:\>dsmgmt
metadata cleanup
Remove Selected Server "CN=ServerName$InstanceName,CN=Servers,CN=SiteName,CN=Sites,CN=Configuration,CN=GUID of ADAM Instance" on ServerName:PortNumber
